SPRO DUAL 1958 QC Essential

Valco made a name for themselves with a very wide line-up of guitr amps spread out through a myriad of brands, of which the most recognized became SPRO. SPRO amps were played by many blues players in the 50's and 60's and were a good alternative on a tighter budget to Fender amps.
Even names like Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page have played these amps and from the whole lineup the SPRO the DUAL became the most widely recognized and iconic piece.
This here is an extremely rare early 6V6 version, which has a bigger, meaner crunch and more gain on tap due to the easily overdriving 6V6 tubes.
Nonbody knows what exactly Jimmy Page used for the First Led Zeppelin albums in the studio, but it is clear that the 1x12 DUAL is the most probable candidate despite many differing quotes by the man himself and various online articles. Either way, this little beast will get you darn close to those tones and more
It has that SPRO raunch on higher settings and can get really massive sounding without caving in. But it also has wonderful chimey cleans that open up new dimensions even to the humbucker pickup sound.
The set includes 18 AMP+CAB Captures that go from clean to lead and features different EQ settings for each gain level. Please refer to the full list of Captures under the product pictures
