If you have been looking for an amp to nail the early Zeppelin record tones, this capture pack is what you have been looking for.
In a collaboration between Jimmy Page and Mitch Colby Sundragon amps created a highly authentic replica of the legendary modified Supro Coronado amp that Jimmy Page used on Led Zeppelin I, II and other recordings.
The exact model used was a big mystery for a long time, but has since been confirmed as being a Supro Coronado with a modified baffle, which made it into a 1X12 combo with a Jensen 12" sepaker, along with some other undisclosed mods that made this specific amp sound like no other Supro out there. 
These captures are created from one of these unique amps and it truly delivers that early Led Zeppelin tone and rude character in spades. 
This amp sounds like a Supro combo on steroids - a firmer low end response and more punch than the usual supros will deliver, as well as massive amounts of gain on tap. It is a simple amp with 2 channels and just a volume control per channel and one common tone control. But it is also one of the most touch sensitive amps we've played so far, if not THE most touch sensitive amp we've tried. Meaning that you can easily go from clean to dlatt out mayhem just with your pick attack or a the twist of the volume knob. 
Pick a crunch capture and go from clean to mean in a heart beat and cover the whole gig just with that one tone easily, if you want or need that. The amp has the typical Supro/Jensen woody tone that will fit a lot of old school genres really well beyond Zeppelin material. It is a great blues and rock amp and with a rolled back volume control in particular, the cleans are very nicely compressed and balanced in output level against the crunch tones when going into rock territory. 
A very unique opportunity to get your hands on the tones that are so closely derived from the actual amp that was used by Jimmy Page in those legendary recordings. 
 
The set features 26 AMP+ CAB captures of the amp. The combo amp was recorded through its 1X12 cab and Jensen P12Q speaker. The mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.
