ORNG 80 1973 DI + IR + CAB
ORNG introduced their line of amps as direct competitors to the MRSH amps that ruled studios and stages around the world. They were built with larger transformers, more rigid, heavier in weight and tone and were thought of as an "upgrade" and overbuilt option.
People often are amazed by how loud HWAT amps are, but if a HWAT is compared to a truck driving through your home, these old ORNG amps are a freight train. They have massive power, grunt and the reason why they are so loved in heavier genres is that they have a massive bottom end and headroom in the bass.
But before it gets to these levels of distortion, it delivers also nice clean and crunch tones that have lots of headroom, but also have a bit of a nice compression. A truly unique amp that can do a lot of things nothing else can.
The capture set includes 48 captures, 12 of which are full captures. The following pedals were used for the lead gain levels: BSB, 808, RAT, PAG, MIN and KLN. 6 IR's are provided - 3 of an original ORNG cab with G12H30 75Hz speakers featuring the pulsonic cone and the same cab with V30's.
