This concludes a 20 year long journey for me when i got my first amp - a cheap JTM45 clone and thereafter gathered extremely rare NOS parts for 5 years to build an authentic clone of the JTM 45/100, never hoping to even touch a real one.
 
This beauty arrived and has been sounding flawless since plugging it in the first time. Warm, full, bold tones with a strat or humbuckers and a phenomenal pedal platform amp.
 
Many biggest names of the 60's played this monster and it was designed for the guys who played big concerts and demanded more power. Hendrix, Townsend, Clapton are just a few names from an incredible roster of players.
 
This amp is thick and fat and this particular specimen from 1966 can be dialed in so that the low end is massive, but still usable and its unique character of that wide, full JTM voice with a really unique bite shines through every mix. A wonderful and unique tone in the whole Marshall line-up and without a doubt one of my top favorites along with REX and the Super Dragon.
 
The set features 30 full captures of the amp through a vintage 1968 Marshall 4X12 with the extremely rare Celestion G12H 25W speakers (exactly the speaker that was in Jimi's tall pin-striped Marshall cabs. The mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.

    As this is a digital product and there is no way to retreive the product after the sale, we issue no refunds on the captures sets, packs or bundles. We do however do our best to convey a good representation of the  captures.

  • Receiving the Captures

    After downloading the Tone Model set to your computer, the Tone Models can be imported from within ToneX:

    The simplest way is to unzip the zip file and then drag&drop the TXP files into the app and it will automatically import the presets and tone models.
