In a collab between Jack White / Third Man and Fender Jack's ideal amp was born - a Fender Vibroverb with added mids control and boost circuit, BF era style Reverb with EQ controls on the wet signal and a harmonic tremolo from the brown panel era. To round out this unique amp there is a second power amp run by 2x6V6 that allows stereo and WET/DRY operation from one amp pushing its 1X15 and 1X10 speakers with some refined and beautiful Black panel era type tones.

This amp is surprisingly versatile and a big part of that is the added mids control that lets you dial in the mids content right for cleans, overdriven tones and pedal use. In particular cutting some of the mids gives some of the best tones available on the amp. Which is exactly what Jack White notes in his intro of the amp - that he likes to cut a lot of the mids.

The amp offers some of the best Black Panel style clean and edge of breakup tones. It takes pedals and in particular fuzzes like one of the best pedal platform amps we've tried to date - it is on par with the Hiwatt DR103, 67 Marshall Super Bass, Suhr Bella, Mesa Lonestar and gives fuzzes a character like no other amp.

That is not very surprising bearing in mind Jack Whites style and use of fuzz pedals. So we included a MKIII ToneBender, original EHX Big Muff Pi V5 and Gamechanger Audio Plasma pedal to give you a jump-start into Jack White tones.

Besides this amp will also deliver some of the best SRV style tones with or without a tube screamer in front (unsurpsingly, as the BF Vibroverb was one of Stevie Ray Vaughan's main amps).

The overdriven tones are some of the best in the BF food chain of amps that we've heard so far and another area where cutting the mids gives a lot of great tonalities.

If you are into Jack White / White Stripes style of music, SRV or generally like Black Panel era Fender tones - this amp is one that you need to check out.

The set features XX full captures of the amp through its 1X15 Jensen C15N speaker. The mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.
