FNDR BFTWN ToneX Essential DI
Easily one of the most iconic or maybe even the most iconic FNDR Black panel era amps, the mighty FNDR BFTWN has graced the stages of many high profile players over the 60 years since its inception.
The list of players inlcudes top artists from the past and present: Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, Chuck Berry, Jack White, Johnny Greenwood, Thom Yorke, Gary Clark Jr, Lenny Cravitz, Nuno Bettencourt and many, many more. It is almsot easier to list guys who haven't used it at some point.
The TWN jumps out from the rest of the Black panel line. Though it has the classic Black panel scooped sound on the Vibrato channel (hust a Hulk version of what the other amps from the line do), it has an astonishing amount of headroom, tightness, directness and a very unique feel, which could be described as stout and quick.
For KLEAN clean tones, this is THE amp to get. It can sound beautiful without any hint of distortion, which actually not many amps are capable of.
It is also known for taking pedals really well and can be dimed for some nice crunch tones. It is probably the cleanest amp we've tried so far. Just an incredible punch and power.
The normal channel on this one sounds very different from the Vibrato channel - it is significantly more balanced and warm and almost resembles something akin to DMBL or TRCK amps clean tones.
Put some pedals in front, including your favorite fuzz and get ready for a wild ride, as this amp, along with the HWTT CUT100 is probably the best pedal platform out there.
The set includes 30 DI captures ranging from clean to lead gain levels and featuring various EQ settings per gain level. Please refer to the full list of captures in the product pictures.
