Expansion DI set contains additional tones (thin, fat and scooped EQ settings).Core DI sets contain close mic'd IR cabs, Expansion DI sets contain "amp-in-a-room" IR cabs that need an external IR loader for the full 1-2 second length of the files. The "amp-in-a-room" IR's are meant to bixed in with the close mic'd cabs for extremely realistic room sounds.
This 50W class AB 6L6 based circuit is the amp that has defined what is most associated with "american tone". It is best known for its legendary sparkly and slightly scooped tone, which is instantly recognizable and also works really well with pedals. It gets a nice break-up without the help of pedals and it sounds brighter and a bit scooped compared to the "british tone" camp.
This particular unit is almost 100% original with the exception that 2 of the power supply filtering caps have been replaced. The previous owner had rehoused it into a head, which makes it all the more practical for us.
It has been used by an endless list of artists, some notable names of which would be: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike Bloomfied, BB King, Muddy Waters, Robben Ford, Philip Sayce, Dereck Trucks, Ronnie Earl.
The capture set features captures of the Vibrato and Normal channel. The vibrato channel has a mid control and an additional gain stage due to the reverb recovery stage and the normal channel is bigger/fatter sounding.
The Expansion DI capture set includes 35 DI captures of the Vibrato and Normal channel consisting of 6 gain ranges (clean, edge, crunch, dimed, drive, lead) and 3 EQ settings per gain range (thin, fat, scooped). Included are 3 custom "amp in the room" IR's and the following pedals for the drive and lead gain levels: KLN (Klon clone), RAT (ProCo White Face RAT), SHR (Marshall Shredmaster), GEFF (Germanium Fuzz Face clone), ART (Kingsley Artisan), TIM (Timmy), DST (MXR Distortion+ Script), BSB (Marshall Bluesbreaker MKI)

As this is a digital product and there is no way to retreive the product after the sale, we issue no refunds on the captures sets, packs or bundles. We do however do our best to convey a good representation of the captures.
Delivery of captures
With the purchase you will receive a dwonload link to a ZIP file that contains the NAM models (*.nam extension) which can be simply loaded in the NAM plugin.
The included IR's can be also loaded into the NAM plugin, these contain the cabinet simulation and are needed to acquire the intended sound. Of ocurse any other 3rd party IR's can be used instead.
