Considered to be the most popular and i conic amp in existence, being used by countless artists, session guys and being recorded over thousends of records the black panel Deluxe Reverb and its reincarnation in the Reissue format is an amp that needs no introduction.
It delivers some of the most iconic clean and edge of breakup tones, takes pedals as well as very few amps are capable of doing and deliver it all with that classic black panel mid scoop and sparlly top end.
But it doesn't stop there. This amp can easily delvier proper rock territory crunchtones without a pedal in front and will be a trusted buddy for basically any gig that could be thrown at you.
The user list es endless, but here are a few: John Mayer, Mike Campbell, Elvis Costello, Vince Gill, Julian Lage, Bill Frisell, Dan Auerbach and many more. A short glance at the list gives you instantly the main takeaway - this amp will handle any genre short of heavy metal.
Best amp of all time? It certainly without a question deserves a spot in the short list.
The set features 24 full captures of the amp through its 1X12 Jensen C12K speaker. The mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.
