Playthrough of the capture set
The EV5050III is the latest evolution of the never ending tone chasing marathon that EVH was on during most of his career.
The SLDN SL100 can be considered its grandfather and the PV 5050 its father. It has a finer-grained and brighter and tighter character than the PV 5050 that lends itself well for more modern high gain tones.
It will effortlessly work really well for nice chugs as well as for quick solo runs. It even shines in the clean and crunch gain ranges and makes it one of the not so many high gain amps that really can do it all really well.
The set includes 32 DI captures and 2 CAB IR's from a Mesa Boogie 4X12 with Vintage 30's and a Marshall 1980B cab with 55hz Pulsonic coned G12H30 speakers. All mic'd with 2x Royer R121, Beyerdynamic M160, Neumann U87 and an SM57. Please refer to the table with all included captures and settings in the product picture section.

As this is a digital product and there is no way to retreive the product after the sale, we issue no refunds on the captures sets, packs or bundles. We do however do our best to convey a good representation of the captures.
Receiving the Captures
With the purchase you will receive a dwonload link to a ZIP file that contains the NAM models (*.nam extension) which can be simply loaded in the NAM plugin.
The included IR's can be also loaded into the NAM plugin, these contain the cabinet simulation and are needed to acquire the intended sound. Of ocurse any other 3rd party IR's can be used instead.
