Bogner Uberschall MKII Ultra Playthrough
The Bogner Uberschall MKII Ultra amp has taken the modern high gain world by storm and it has even managed to make a lot of the heavy weights go weak in the knees, as this amp delivers a truly spectacular tone. It becomes one of the top favorites of many well known high gain players. Including those who have massive high gain amp collections.
No wonder we had many requests for captures of this beast. You asked and now you shall receive. This amp indeed became also instantly one of my favorite high gain amps.
It strikes a beautiful tonal balance between tightness, warmth, smoothness and grit. I feel like the closest i can describe it would be a cross between the Diezel VH4 (a very smooth and tidy tone, yet dynamic) and something like the Soldano SLO-100 - a very organic, open sounding amp with good high end detail and cut.
The Uberschall is one of the big staples of high gain players around the world and the MKII version is on track to do the same again. Most prominent user of the MKII version are Deftones, who deliver some of the most amazing heavy tones ever recorded!
So check this one out - it will be worth your time.
The capture set features 47 V2 DI captures. 2 custom IR's of our Mesa 4X12 cab with Celestion V30's are included and the cab has been miked with the following mics: Royer R121, Neumann U87 and Suhr SM57. See a full list of included captures in the product picture section.
