In a recent (and as it turned out also the last) interview by Mark Sampson answered that he wants to be remembered as someone who built good sounding amps. That very simple answer to the question of legacy struck deep. Indeed Mark Sampson's last design is in my view his finest work. The Era 30 is extremely well dialed in and balanced, both channels deliver tones inspired by 2 of the most desirable VOX eras - the AC30 Top Boost and the AC30/4 with the EF86 channel. And in this case it is not just mimicry - the sound and especially usability of those classics has been forged to perfection in this amp. In its own warm and round voice this amp will do everything really well - from cleans, edge of breakup and crunch up to beautiful drive and lead tones with or without pedals. If you are into VOX style tones and like Matchless and / or Bad Cat designs - you owe yourself this one - might be that this ends your search.
The capture set features a whopping 48 V2 DI captures. 1 custom IR's of our Matchless 2X12 cab with G12H / G12M combo and the cab has been mic'd with the following mics: Royer R121, Neumann U87 and Suhr SM57. See a full list of included captures in the product picture section.

As this is a digital product and there is no way to retreive the product after the sale, we issue no refunds on the captures sets, packs or bundles. We do however do our best to convey a good representation of the captures.
Receiving the Captures
With the purchase you will receive a dwonload link to a ZIP file that contains the NAM models (*.nam extension) which can be simply loaded in the NAM plugin.
The included IR's can be also loaded into the NAM plugin, these contain the cabinet simulation and are needed to acquire the intended sound. Of ocurse any other 3rd party IR's can be used instead.
